Nearly 14 years ago we were asked to help start the Breeder of Merit program. There were 70 other breeders of other breeds asked to help as well. Over the next few years We became good friends with the woman who invited us ot help start the program and we even helped to start and spark the ideas for other AKC offereings, one of which is the Microchip program!

THIS WAS A HUGE HONOR AS WE WERE PART OF THE PILOT AND PLANNING PROGRAMS. The program changed, as we fined tuned each little portion of the rules and the requirements. We are thankful and quite flattered that we were identified as exibiting the qualities that embodied the program.

We have since gone from a Standard BOM status to Bronze and we are working on trying to elevate to a higher level as time permits.
